Bandung, 23 September 2026 – PT Gapura Angkasa participated in HCM Talks 2026, organised by SBM ITB in collaboration with Jaringan Prima, ITB Jakarta, and SBM ITB. Carrying the theme “Leadership Development Across Fields and Levels Toward Indonesia Emas 2045”, the event served as a collaborative forum between academia and industry to discuss leadership and human capital development in preparing high-quality talent to navigate an increasingly dynamic industrial landscape.

President Director of PT Gapura Angkasa, Ichwan F. Agus, highlighted that a company’s success is not determined solely by systems, technology, or infrastructure, but also by the quality of its people.

“The most important factor is the quality of our human resources. Therefore, we continue to encourage the development of leaders who are adaptive, collaborative, uphold integrity, and have a strong service-oriented mindset,” he said.

From the perspective of the aviation industry, the need for adaptive leadership has become increasingly important amid rapid developments in technology, evolving customer expectations, and changing business models. Leaders can no longer rely solely on past experience, but need to continuously learn, listen, collaborate, and make decisions in response to changing circumstances.

Through its participation in HCM Talks 2026, Gapura Angkasa hopes that collaboration between academia and industry will continue to provide a platform for exchanging insights with students, academics, professionals, and practitioners. Such collaboration is expected to contribute to an ecosystem that supports the development of high-quality, integrity-driven and adaptive leaders who are prepared to face future challenges.

This initiative forms part of a collective contribution towards developing Indonesia’s human capital and supporting the realisation of Indonesia Emas 2045.
