Jakarta, 12 February 2026 — SIPERKASA has officially joined and affiliated with the Federasi Serikat Pekerja Penerbangan Indonesia, which operates under the umbrella of the Konfederasi Serikat Pekerja Seluruh Indonesia, under the leadership of Muhammad Jumhur Hidayat.
This strategic step reflects a shared commitment to strengthening the organisation’s position and bargaining capacity, enhancing solidarity among aviation sector workers, and fostering synergy across labour unions within Indonesia’s aviation ecosystem.
FSPPI brings together various labour unions across key aviation institutions, including unions within Angkasa Pura, Garuda Indonesia, GMF AeroAsia, AirNav Indonesia, Aerotrans, and the Garuda Pilots Association. With SIPERKASA’s inclusion, representation within the federation becomes broader and more cohesive, particularly for workers within PT Gapura Angkasa.
The affiliation is expected to reinforce collective strength in addressing industry dynamics and challenges, including operational readiness ahead of the Eid homecoming travel period. In navigating these challenges, all parties remain committed to upholding the fundamental principles of the aviation industry: Safety, Security, and Service Excellence.
This milestone is anticipated to serve as renewed momentum for all SIPERKASA members, both at national and branch levels, to further enhance professionalism, integrity, and constructive contributions in supporting safe and reliable aviation operations across Indonesia.
