Pontianak, 29 June 2026 — PT Gapura Angkasa once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting international air connectivity by providing ground handling services for Scoot’s inaugural Singapore–Pontianak–Singapore route at Supadio Airport, Pontianak.
The inaugural service operated as flight TR328 from Singapore Changi Airport to Pontianak, followed by flight TR329 from Pontianak to Singapore. The new route is served by an Embraer E190-E2 aircraft.
Scoot has officially commenced operations in Pontianak with three weekly flights. The launch forms part of the airline’s network expansion in Indonesia, providing greater travel options for the people of West Kalimantan to Singapore and onward destinations through Changi Airport.
In supporting the inaugural flight, Gapura Angkasa’s operational team ensured that all ground handling services were delivered with a strong emphasis on safety, security, service quality, and punctuality. Comprehensive coordination was carried out with the airline, airport operator, and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth arrival and departure processes.
