In order to avoid head office building from various risks, especially the risk of fire, an effort is needed to prevent and prepare fire protection installations so that they are in good condition and ready to use which is applied in a Fire Safety Management System.
On Thursday, June 23, 2022, Fire Safety Management training was held in Gapura Head Office, which was attended by approximately 40 participants from Head Office employees from various units who are members of the MKKG (Manajemen Keselamatan & Kebakaran Gedung) Team.
The training was officially opened by the VP of Human Capital, Mr. IGN Raka Sugiartha. In his opening speech, he said that this activity aims to improve employee competency, especially in Gapura Head Office Team in terms of handling fire risks so that able to minimize the occurrence of fire disasters.
The participants received material on First Aid delivered by Mr. Ferlyandi Hidayat as Head of HSE PT Gapura Angkasa and continued with Basic Fire Theory and Fire Safety Management delivered by instructors from the Central Jakarta Fire and Rescue Agency.
In this training, building fire simulation was carried out involving the PT Gapura Angkasa MKKG Team which was attended by all employees from Head Office, where all building occupants participated in evacuation simulation activity to the assembly point and practice of extinguishing fire by using a fire extinguisher and gunny sacks.
At the end of the training session, siamese connection test was also carried out which has the function of supplying water in the building/indoor if the water in the reservoir has run out. The water carried by fire engine is flowed through this component, to supply the water needs for the sprinkle and hydrant box inside Gapura Building, in order to ensure that the device functions properly when it is needed as a fire protection system.
