Gapura Angkasa Appointed to Handle Cargo and Logistics Services for MotoGP Mandalika 2025 at Lombok International Airport

Gapura Angkasa has been officially appointed as the logistics, cargo, and ground handling service provider for the prestigious MotoGP 2025 world championship race at the Mandalika Circuit. This appointment solidifies Gapura Angkasa's position as a leading provider of ground handling and cargo logistics in Indonesia, operating with world-class standards.


In addition, the VIP airport assistant service, Joumpa by Gapura Angkasa, will be available. Joumpa is dedicated to ensuring a seamless travel experience from the first step into the airport, offering premium assistance services for riders, teams, and spectators at the MotoGP Mandalika 2025.


For this engagement, Gapura Angkasa managed the entire logistics process for all MotoGP equipment, from international inbound arrival and distribution to the circuit area, to the international outbound departure via Freighter Flights at Lombok International Airport (LOP) from September 29 to October 8, 2025. This comprehensive service included the transport of racing motorcycles, safety cars, spare parts, pit equipment, safety gear, and the operational necessities for all participating MotoGP Mandalika 2025 teams. With a total of 28 Ground Support Equipment (GSE) units and a team of 244 professionals in their respective fields, Gapura Angkasa handled this major assignment with optimal efficiency.

The logistics handling process involved close coordination with various parties, including the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC), Airport Authorities, Quarantine services, and the MotoGP organizing committee. Collaboration was also established with the IAS (Injourney Aviation Services) Group as a key stakeholder. Gapura Angkasa has prepared operational procedures that are fully aligned with international regulations to facilitate the smooth execution of all activities.
