PT Gapura Angkasa Conducts Forklift Worthiness Test at Soekarno-Hatta Airport Cargo & Warehouse Area

As part of the company’s commitment to maintaining workplace safety and operational reliability, PT Gapura Angkasa carried out a Forklift Worthiness Test on Friday, 1 May 2026, at the PT Gapura Angkasa Cargo & Warehouse area, Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Cengkareng.

The activity was conducted to ensure that all forklift units are in safe condition, fit for operation, and compliant with applicable occupational safety standards. During the inspection, two forklift units underwent a Non-Destructive Test (NDT) on the forks, as well as a Load Test in accordance with lifting capacity using test loads.

Based on the inspection results, no indication of cracking was found on the forklift forks through the NDT process. In addition, during the Load Test with a 2.7-tonne load, no drifting or lowering occurred. Therefore, both forklift units were declared fit for operation and ready to support operational activities.

Director of Operations of PT Gapura Angkasa, Capt. Ruli Wijaya, stated, “We want to ensure that every operational activity runs safely, not only to maintain smooth service delivery, but also to protect all personnel working on the ground. This worthiness test is a concrete step in maintaining those standards.”
The implementation of regular inspections and testing is an important step in ensuring that all working equipment remains in optimal, safe, and reliable condition. This reflects PT Gapura Angkasa’s commitment to promoting a strong safety culture across every operational line.
