Garuda Indonesia Launches Round-Trip Flights on Jakarta – Samarinda Route, Fully Supported by Gapura Angkasa

Jakarta, August 1, 2025 – Garuda Indonesia continues to expand its domestic air connectivity by launching its inaugural round-trip service on the Jakarta (Soekarno-Hatta/CGK) – Samarinda (AAP) route, officially commencing, Thursday (8/1). This strategic move aims to improve equitable access to air transportation and stimulate economic growth in East Kalimantan and surrounding regions.



With this new direct service, Garuda Indonesia offers greater convenience for both the public and business travelers seeking efficient access between Jakarta and Samarinda—the capital of East Kalimantan province, which holds a vital role in regional development and the ongoing establishment of Indonesia’s new capital city (IKN).
