Jakarta, July 18, 2025 — PT Gapura Angkasa has proudly concluded the entire range of Hajj flight operations for the 2025 (1446 H) season, ensuring a safe, orderly, and timely process. This achievement stands as a testament to the company’s commitment to delivering top-tier ground handling services in support of Indonesian pilgrims’ sacred journey.
Throughout the Hajj period, Gapura Angkasa managed a total of 757 flights, consisting of 385 departures during the outbound and main phases, and 372 return flights, covering 11 major embarkation points and 3 feeder airports across Indonesia. The successful completion of this operation was marked by sincere appreciation extended to all stakeholders — including airlines, airport authorities, government agencies, and service partners — for their strong collaboration and support. Gapura Angkasa hopes this synergy continues to grow in future services.
In total, more than 130,000 pilgrims were served efficiently. This reflects not only the large scale of the operation but also the high level of coordination handled seamlessly by Gapura’s team — from baggage handling and check-in to apron services and aircraft operations.
PT Gapura Angkasa’s President Director, Mr. Troficiendy Suroso, expressed his gratitude to all personnel involved. “This achievement is the result of hard work and full dedication from everyone at Gapura. We are proud to be part of this important mission and will continue to uphold the highest service standards for every key moment in Indonesia’s aviation landscape,” he stated.
This year’s Hajj operation also served as a demonstration of Gapura Angkasa’s preparedness and professionalism in managing large-scale logistical challenges, highlighting the company’s ongoing contribution to supporting the spiritual journey of Indonesia’s Muslim pilgrims.
With the completion of the return phase, Gapura Angkasa reaffirms its position as a reliable, trusted, and service-oriented strategic partner for the nation’s aviation industry.
