Gapura Angkasa in FGDs to Improve Personnel Competency Standards Aviation in Support of the Recovery of the Aviation Industry

The Indonesian Airport Experts Association (IABI) has officially established the Airport Professional Certification Institute (LSP-BI), which has been ratified by the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP). Aviation Personnel in Supporting the Recovery of the Aviation Industry located in the Mataram Room, Gedung Cipta, 7th Floor of the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation, on November 8th, 2022.




This event was attended by the Chairman of BNSP, Director General of Civil Aviation, Director of Human Resources & Corporate Strategy of PT Gapura Angkasa, President Director of Lion Air, President Director of PT Angkasa Pura I, and President Director of PT Angkasa Pura II.


The explanation of Gapura Angkasa's Personnel Competence was explained by the Director of HR & Corporate Strategy, Mrs. Rini Indrawati. In her opportunity, she explained that in improving the competence of personnel, Gapura Angkasa has a training institution, namely Gapura Learning Center (GLC) as a training center. Various types of training programs have been carried out to improve the competence of both Gapura Angkasa personnel and external participants in order to prepare ready-to-work workers.


Not only aiming to fulfill Gapura Angkasa's internal competence, Gapura Learning Center also offers various trainings for external parties including mandatory training (GSE Operator, Basic Aviation Security, Cargo Officer, Ground Operation, Front Liner) and non-mandatory such as aircraft service courses, cargo handling courses and On Job Training.


Every training held by the Gapura Learning Center pays great attention to 3S 1C (Safety, Security, Secure & Compliance), so that it is hoped that the participants will have an adequate competency increase in accordance with the needs in the aviation industry and maintain security standards according to applicable regulations.
